U.S. Amb. To NATO: There’s Increasing Amount of Sabotage in Europe — Germans Attributed Drone Attacks to Russia

WHITAKER: "Yeah, there’s increasing amount of sabotage right now on the European continent. The Germans just attributed the Leipzig drone attack to the Russians. It is a very dynamic environment, but we’re not sitting by and watching this happen. Our allies at NATO, together with the United States, are making sure that resiliency and preparedness are top of mind right now. We’re making sure that our allies are equipped with everything they need. But you see by these incidents that this is just part of the modern battlefield, and we need to make sure our societies are prepared for these types of attempts and ultimately, if there’s one successful, we need to make sure we’re ready to respond."
