Sen. Schumer: Trump Stopping Clean Energy Projects Is ‘Economic Dictatorship’

SCHUMER: “Trump blocked clean energy projects that would have brought down families' energy costs, that would have powered millions of homes. The administration, of course, shut down the cheapest and fastest sources of energy to get on the grid. They shut a lot of them down in mid-construction. Things were being built, workers were being paid, good-paying jobs. And they shut it down in the middle, coming up with bogus reasons. Oh, you don't mean environmental concerns, which they never cared about before. So we asked them, which ones? Well, we can't tell you. It's like an economic dictatorship, an economic dictatorship.”
