Mike Pence from Ukraine Amid the War: It’s a Battle Between Liberty and Tyranny, Good and Evil, It’s Deeply Inspiring To Be Here
RUSH EXCERPT:
PENCE: "Well, to be gathered and have the chance to address the national prayer breakfast as the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Soviet Union and Ukraine‘s independence. It was a great privilege for me. Thousands of people gathered from across Ukraine and, frankly, around the world, and the sense you have of the deep resolve, not only of the leadership from president Zelenskyy on down, but rank and file military every day, Ukrainians is palpable. Look, Ukraine is winning this war. Four and a half years after that brutal and unprovoked invasion by Russia, Ukraine‘s military on the front lines has fought Russia to a stalemate. And by essentially reinventing drone warfare, they‘ve taken the fight directly in to the heart of Russia. They‘ve sunk ships in the Black Sea. It‘s really been extraordinary. They have challenges with ballistic missiles that president Zelenskyy and I talked about, Dana, but but the the incredible determination of these people fighting on what I believe is just the latest front line of freedom, the battle between liberty and tyranny, the battle between good and evil is deeply inspiring to be here."
