Rep. Jeffries: Settler Violence in the West Bank Is out of Control, Those Responsible Should Be Held Accountable

JEFFRIES: “I think what is clear in terms of what needs to be done is that, one, you've got to reconstruct Gaza, you've got to allow new Palestinian leadership to emerge, Hamas has got to be out. You've got to figure out how you can economically invest in Gaza and the West Bank, you know, in ways that allow the Palestinian community to thrive on a pathway toward a independent state. And then you've got to figure out, you know, how to make sure that people who have been breaking the law, U.S. law, are held accountable. And certainly that's the case with respect to settler violence in the West Bank that's out of control.”
