SADLER: “I think that’s right. It is clear the IRGC is the power behind the throne, so to speak, in Tehran. And certainly a willingness to attack shipping. So something has to change. And that is really the only leverage they have other than trying to expand the war through their proxies and say the Houthis in Yemen, Hezbollah and Hamas and proxies in Iraq. And all of that is being degraded substantially. And there aren’t really any other options. So keep doing the same thing, bomb then negotiate, then get back to bombing as necessary. Perhaps an approach where you compel the type of behavior that we want is what is necessary. So keep attacking whenever they threaten shipping or if they come close to threatening”
