FARAH GRIFFIN: “So listen, I worked with Dr. Fauci in the first Trump administration during Covid. And I would like to remind folks that Dr. Fauci was an adviser. Dr. Fauci had no unilateral authority to put in place policies. So he made recommendations to the president and he made recommendations to the governors. If the president or governors decided to implement those policies, those are the people responsible. So to many of the American public who have vilified Fauci for things like lockdowns or kids being out of school, that truly is an issue and a function of the governor. So I take a lot of issue with this sort of vilifying and making him enemy number one for the Covid response. It was elected officials who decided how they were going to handle it.”
