DESANTIS: “Actually, in his diary, he was taking credit for school closures in places like California and New York. He was opposed to Florida in 2020. I issued an executive order, which the unions opposed. I got sued over, but basically mandating all public schools be open. We told parents, if you want to do virtual, that's fine, but every kid that wants to be there, the parents that want them there, they have a right to be there. And we would show that it was safe and it obviously was. And he very much opposed that.”
