BOYLE: "Well, first, my heart really goes out to the families of all 18 service members who died in the line of duty for our country. It’s also incredibly disrespectful. I would like to know the names of the four that they are removing from this count. It’s also kind of hard to understand how this could just be a a common mistake or something that was innocent. It’s not like we’re confusing in the thousands or in the millions. It’s a difference between 18 and 14. But, you know, whether it’s this or whether it was six years ago during Covid, we know that Donald Trump puts enormous pressure on officials in the executive branch to whitewash official data. So that way he gets the story out that he wants, even when it’s not an accurate thing. That is disturbing. No previous executive I can think of has ever resorted to such tactics that we typically see in authoritarian regimes."
