Kevin Hassett Says Iran’s Ability to Hold the Global Economy Hostage ‘Has Been Degraded’
‘I get reports every day about ships that are making it through the Gulf with U.S. escorts’
EXCERPT:
HASSETT: “I think that if you're thinking about the future of markets, then, you know, I don't really know, I can't predict when the Iranians are going to start to think about the welfare of their own people. You know, they've got 300 percent inflation, presumably hunger, you know, long lines, if at all, at the gas stations. And, you know, these leaders, if you complain about it, they'll kill you and kill you in a really gruesome way. And so I don't know how that ends. But I can tell you that their ability to hold the global economy hostage has been significantly degraded.”
