POLYMEROPOULOS: “You know, Willie, if you’re a member of the U.S. Air Force, if you’re a pilot, how about someone in a U.S. Navy ship in the region, the war is certainly not over. And you can see — I think you should maybe redefine it as a hot piece, because you do see these tit for tat exchanges. And look, there’s no doubt U.S. Military members are in harm’s way, but I think one of the things that we should look for is that this game that the two sides are playing now, which both seem to think can be managed in some way, because I think it’s also obvious that neither side wants to come back to full-on armed conflict, but it can get out of hand very quickly, and that’s the danger here. If there’s a loss of life, particularly on the U.S. side, if a U.S. Navy ship gets hit, what if we have a significant loss of life at one of our bases in the region, then this would kind of explode once again.”
