Lt. Gen. Keith Kellogg on Iran: Trump Is the President, He’s Done a Great Job

KELLOGG: “Well, I think he does. He’s the president. I mean, I fully read the Constitution, Article II, Section 2. He’s the commander-in-chief. He gets it and he understands that. We’re just noise in the background and we just say what things maybe should be done from a military perspective. You know, I actually did something like this when I was a commander of the 82nd Airborne Division, when every year you get evaluated, and my evaluation when I was a commander was actually going into Iran and taking [inaudible] and and consolidating the Strait of Hormuz. So I kind of know the area. It’s his decision to make. He’s the president. He’s done a great job. And I’m just trying to give him maybe thoughts about more and more leverage that he wants to use.”
