This after taking a weeks-long trip starting from the tip of Argentina through Antarctica and southern Atlantic islands. Somewhere along the way the disease hantavirus was picked up by someone from the droppings of a rodent. So far, three people have died, four are ill, it’s suspected with the same disease.
