RUSH EXCERPT:
VATANKA: “Obviously from an operational point of view, militarily, it would be a huge operation if you had to go in and take it by force. Nobody underestimates, that would be a massive undertaking. But hopefully that’s not what the United States has to do. Hopefully the next round of talks will focus on a couple key issues. One is as we just discussed the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz in a meaningful way, that the flow of traffic will go back to something like normal. The other thing is the nature of Iran’s nuclear program going forward. All sorts of suggestions including in the last round of talks in islamabad, suspending enrichment for a number of years and what happens to that enriched uranium. Are they going to dilute and keep it? Are they going to ship it to a third party country? These are all going to have to be ironed out in the next not just one round of talks, but I”
