VATANKA: “To your point, so much of this is not just about the substance of the negotiations but about the optics, as you correctly pointed out. In the last 10 hours or so we had the Iranian foreign minister come out and tweet that the strait is open for business, and within the last few hours as you just showed, saying, not so fast. So clearly the Iranian side are worried about the optics. And to your point I think they will happen. I’ve seen no suggestions that the next round of talks won’t happen but they obviously want to walk into that negotiation”
