Ret. Gen. Dana Pittard on Trump’s ‘Iran Will Be Hit Very Hard:’ On the Political Side, ‘I’d Give Us a Failing Grade for Not Informing Congress’
RUSH EXCERPT:
PITTARD: "Well hi, Alex. I mean, today’s. strikes as. Far as from. America and Israel have been successful. Obviously, the Iranians still have some level of capability. And if we look at the entire context of this war now and and day eight, you know, the military has done, done well for the tasks that they’ve been given and and destroying or attempting to destroy the Iranian navy. They’ve gone pretty far with that, hitting the ballistic missiles and hitting the command and control of Iran. If you look at other elements of power other than the military on the political side, I’D give us a failing grade for, for for not informing Congress and the American people. On the diplomatic side, I give us a failing grade for not for not getting our allies involved like we’ve done before in both former gulf wars. The economic side, a failing grade for not anticipating what’s going on. So that’s where we stand right now."
