Dan Henninger on Iran: It’s a War Unlike Any We’ve Ever Seen, ‘It’s Being Fought Entirely Through the Air’
RUSH EXCERPT:
HENNINGER: "I think it's going fairly well. The first thing we should talk about is the definition of war. This is indeed a major war but it’s a war unlike any we have ever seen. It is not traditional there are no boots on the ground this is not Iraq, this is not Afghanistan. This war is being fought entirely through the air. Ballistic missiles, drones and on the U.S. and Israeli side jets, fighters and bombers because the Iranian air force has been basically grounded. It’s been eliminate the Iranian navy has been eliminated the second point to make is, this is being fought through the air with precision weapons. We are not engaged in corporate bombing here but very precise weapons targeting the Iranian infrastructure, its military which we say the individuals and it is eight repression structure structure. That is the intention to suppress Iran’s ability to build nuclear weapons. On that basis is going very well Iran’s missile strikes are down 90% since the beginning of the war. Drones are down 83% as Lucas Tomlinson reported. To the way forward now is the United States gains and Israel gain air superiority is to continue to hit Iran’s primary ability in this war which is to fire missiles and drones from its underground missile cities around the country. So far I think so good."
