Mollie Hemingway on Iran: Trump Has Support from the Republican Party, They Believe ‘That He Fights Wars Differently Than George W. Bush’
EXCERPT:
HEMINWAY: “Well, I agree with Matt that President Trump, when he’s talking about unconditional surrender, he kind of came out here, his people came out and said he just means by that he’ll decide when the war is over. There have only been two times in human history where unconditional surrender has really worked out in a successful way with the access and allied conflict or with Rome and Carthage. So it seems that Trump was being, just letting people know how serious it is. It is also true that he has support from the Republican Party right now because they believe that he fights wars differently than George W. Bush and others. But the American people would like President Trump to focus on those things that he was elected to do, saving the American country, which they think has very limited time for that to work out.”
