‘The U.S. military was able to disable them’

EXCERPT:

BRESLOW: “I do want to let you know, though, as we take a live look over the White House, we are now covering some breaking news as we're hearing from a White House official who is confirming that the El Paso, Texas airspace was closed due to Mexican cartel drones and the U.S. military was able to disable them. Now, we don't have additional information, but what we know so far is coming from a Trump administration official just in via the 'Associated Press.' Now, we know that the Federal Aviation Administration, the FAA, said in a social media post that it lifted the temporary airspace closure, saying there was no threat to commercial aviation and that all flights would resume. The shutdown announced just hours earlier, quote, 'for special security reasons,' end quote, had been expected to create significant disruptions given the duration of 10 days and the size of El Paso and that metro area as a whole.”
