ROBINSON: "Vladimir Putin is who Vladimir Putin has always been. And I don’t  think anybody really is surprised, except maybe President Trump. And, you know, this is — this is a fascinating moment because it — really on display is the president’s impotence in — in this situation. He has no power over Putin to compel Putin to negotiate a peace, just as he has no power to end the war in Gaza that he said he would end, you know, quickly. Claims, of course, that neither of these wars would have started if he had been president. I wonder how long he’ll be able to stand just the embarrassment of seeing Putin essentially laugh in his face."
