May: Hamas Hoped that Netanyahu Wouldn’t Retaliate Because the ‘Israelis Are Divided’ on the Hostage Situation
RUSH EXCERPT:
MAY: "Look, the Israelis are divided on this for they are often divided I think Hamas hope to because there were a lot of Israelis think let’s get out every hostage even if that means we have to pull out every troop even from say the philadelphi corridor which is the main route through which weapons have been coming in to resupply. The view and Hamas was maybe the Israelis will have to hold back on this. At the end of the day, Netanyahu, the prime minister has to make a decision. He did so and the decision is and I think think is supported b President Trump as well it this point we have to go in and do serious damage to Hamas as a military power and as a political power I think that is what they’ve done. And yes, and the democratic society there’s often division. Israel there is always division. But they went ahead and made a decision and that is what they’re going to do a thing for a while. We are also seeing the very real possibility the Israelis are saying if you continue to hold these hostages or kill these hostages and do what you are doing we are going to make a larger buffer zone between Gaza and Israel. In other words you are going to lose some of the land you have been controlling. It’s going to be harder to live in Gaza after words."
