    BLITZER There s some ░░░░░░░░ news coming into the ░░░░░░░░ Room We re getting ░░░░░░░░ details in the case ░░░░░░░░ a Rhode Island doctor ░░░░░░░░ was deported to Lebanon ░░░░░░░░ a judge s order ░░░░░░░░ it BROWN We re ░░░░░░░░ that a hearing set ░░░░░░░░ this morning has been ░░░░░░░░ after most of the ░░░░░░░░ associated with the plaintiff ░░░░░░░░ Rasha Alawieh withdrew from ░░░░░░░░ case Let s go ░░░░░░░░ now to see an ░░░░░░░░ analyst and criminal defense ░░░░░░░░ Joey Jackson in New ░░░░░░░░ So Joey the judge ░░░░░░░░ the request came from ░░░░░░░░ attorneys as a result ░░░░░░░░ further diligence What s ░░░░░░░░ on here Jackson Yeah ░░░░░░░░ morning to you It ░░░░░░░░ unclear what s going ░░░░░░░░ The judge has given ░░░░░░░░ indication that he wants ░░░░░░░░ update within a week ░░░░░░░░ to the specifics as ░░░░░░░░ why the order was ░░░░░░░░ and why she was ░░░░░░░░ However we do know ░░░░░░░░ there was an attorney ░░░░░░░░ the attorneys withdrew and ░░░░░░░░ gave the indication that ░░░░░░░░ was because of further ░░░░░░░░ diligence Now attorneys certainly ░░░░░░░░ the right to withdraw ░░░░░░░░ a case for multiple ░░░░░░░░ Do you see eye ░░░░░░░░ eye with your client ░░░░░░░░ there things your client ░░░░░░░░ not tell you Are ░░░░░░░░ misrepresentations the client made ░░░░░░░░ there certain things that ░░░░░░░░ cannot argue in good ░░░░░░░░ Have you learned more ░░░░░░░░ that would give you ░░░░░░░░ with respect to the ░░░░░░░░ And so the specifics ░░░░░░░░ it Pamela and Wolf ░░░░░░░░ are not clear on ░░░░░░░░ we just are clear ░░░░░░░░ is that the attorneys ░░░░░░░░ were representing her after ░░░░░░░░ at the case further ░░░░░░░░ the decision that they ░░░░░░░░ remove themselves I think ░░░░░░░░ the coming days it ░░░░░░░░ be clear as to ░░░░░░░░ Now certainly the government ░░░░░░░░ is the parties who ░░░░░░░░ responsible for the removal ░░░░░░░░ have given the attorneys ░░░░░░░░ information that is not ░░░░░░░░ to the public And ░░░░░░░░ may indeed be something ░░░░░░░░ gave those attorneys the ░░░░░░░░ they needed to withdraw ░░░░░░░░ But just to drill ░░░░░░░░ a little bit how ░░░░░░░░ she deported if there ░░░░░░░░ a U S judge ░░░░░░░░ that deportation Jackson Yeah ░░░░░░░░ that s troubling obviously ░░░░░░░░ think there s two ░░░░░░░░ questions The first question ░░░░░░░░ predicated Pamela right on ░░░░░░░░ issue of why the ░░░░░░░░ may have withdrawn from ░░░░░░░░ case The second though ░░░░░░░░ more important issue is ░░░░░░░░ there would be such ░░░░░░░░ deportation Now there may ░░░░░░░░ well be legitimate reasons ░░░░░░░░ to why she was ░░░░░░░░ We don t know ░░░░░░░░ I will not speculate ░░░░░░░░ I will say though ░░░░░░░░ that we are a ░░░░░░░░ of laws and those ░░░░░░░░ need to be respected ░░░░░░░░ matter what side of ░░░░░░░░ equation you re on ░░░░░░░░ biggest principle here Pamela ░░░░░░░░ Wolf is due process ░░░░░░░░ does that mean in ░░░░░░░░ It means notice and ░░░░░░░░ opportunity to be heard ░░░░░░░░ people are quite guilty ░░░░░░░░ there s a process ░░░░░░░░ that Some people should ░░░░░░░░ deported There s a ░░░░░░░░ for that Others should ░░░░░░░░ be There s a ░░░░░░░░ for that And that ░░░░░░░░ why we have judicial ░░░░░░░░ we have the respective ░░░░░░░░ and we have hearings ░░░░░░░░ make a determination after ░░░░░░░░ all the facts and ░░░░░░░░ as to what the ░░░░░░░░ decision should be And ░░░░░░░░ we re really getting ░░░░░░░░ ground here you know ░░░░░░░░ this administration You could ░░░░░░░░ that they re really ░░░░░░░░ close to the edges ░░░░░░░░ flouting the law if ░░░░░░░░ outright disregarding it.”
