Fallon Gallagher on Partial Release of Epstein Files: ‘They Shed Very Little New Light’ on the Whole Scope

RUSH TRANSCRIPT WITT And ░░░░░░░░ begin with the latest ░░░░░░░░ the DoJ s release ░░░░░░░░ its first tranche of ░░░░░░░░ files with us now ░░░░░░░░ affairs reporter Fallon Gallagher ░░░░░░░░ m glad to have ░░░░░░░░ here in studio Thanks ░░░░░░░░ joining me here on ░░░░░░░░ Saturday So look tremendous ░░░░░░░░ around the release of ░░░░░░░░ files But did anything ░░░░░░░░ stand out for you ░░░░░░░░ the thousands of documents ░░░░░░░░ were released that were ░░░░░░░░ public now And they ░░░░░░░░ by the way described ░░░░░░░░ just a small portion ░░░░░░░░ what the DoJ has ░░░░░░░░ Yeah Alex these files ░░░░░░░░ heavily redacted They were ░░░░░░░░ and they shed very ░░░░░░░░ new light on what ░░░░░░░░ whole scope of the ░░░░░░░░ files looks like I ░░░░░░░░ call this more of ░░░░░░░░ compilation than a real ░░░░░░░░ because many of these ░░░░░░░░ already existed in the ░░░░░░░░ sphere through foia requests ░░░░░░░░ documents and some of ░░░░░░░░ house oversight documents that ░░░░░░░░ ve been getting over ░░░░░░░░ last few weeks I ░░░░░░░░ we have a list ░░░░░░░░ the screen showing some ░░░░░░░░ them Some of the ░░░░░░░░ ones were that pages ░░░░░░░░ the massage for dummies ░░░░░░░░ some photos with celebrities ░░░░░░░░ people like Mick Jagger ░░░░░░░░ Michael Jackson I want ░░░░░░░░ make it abundantly clear ░░░░░░░░ None of those photos ░░░░░░░░ that there were any ░░░░░░░░ by those celebrities but ░░░░░░░░ shows It sheds some ░░░░░░░░ light on some of ░░░░░░░░ people that he s ░░░░░░░░ spending time with They ░░░░░░░░ to great lengths to ░░░░░░░░ a picture of a ░░░░░░░░ with Bill Clinton There ░░░░░░░░ a number of photos ░░░░░░░░ Bill Clinton You see ░░░░░░░░ in a hot tub ░░░░░░░░ a redacted woman You ░░░░░░░░ him on a plane ░░░░░░░░ a woman on his ░░░░░░░░ Again no evidence of ░░░░░░░░ there but clearly a ░░░░░░░░ that they re trying ░░░░░░░░ tell I think what ░░░░░░░░ really telling though is ░░░░░░░░ s missing from these ░░░░░░░░ There s very little ░░░░░░░░ to President Trump I ░░░░░░░░ many people were expecting ░░░░░░░░ see more of that ░░░░░░░░ s one photo where ░░░░░░░░ see it s a ░░░░░░░░ and there s a ░░░░░░░░ of photos and in ░░░░░░░░ you can see that ░░░░░░░░ s that famous photo ░░░░░░░░ s been around for ░░░░░░░░ while of of President ░░░░░░░░ Melania Epstein and Ghislaine ░░░░░░░░ What s really interesting ░░░░░░░░ that we can tell ░░░░░░░░ that photo appears to ░░░░░░░░ missing from the DoJ ░░░░░░░░ website Now it was ░░░░░░░░ last night in the ░░░░░░░░ the drop It s ░░░░░░░░ now We don t ░░░░░░░░ why that s missing ░░░░░░░░ are a number of ░░░░░░░░ We you know we ░░░░░░░░ t we don t ░░░░░░░░ to speculate there But ░░░░░░░░ house oversight dems have ░░░░░░░░ online that they re ░░░░░░░░ why that one specific ░░░░░░░░ that President Trump happens ░░░░░░░░ be in has been ░░░░░░░░ The other thing that ░░░░░░░░ was looking for that ░░░░░░░░ didn t see are ░░░░░░░░ internal conversations among DoJ ░░░░░░░░ charging decisions some of ░░░░░░░░ investigative materials we didn ░░░░░░░░ see any of that ░░░░░░░░ again we know that ░░░░░░░░ is an incomplete picture ░░░░░░░░ blanch himself said that ░░░░░░░░ He said that they ░░░░░░░░ going to release this ░░░░░░░░ a rolling basis and ░░░░░░░░ this was only a ░░░░░░░░ percentage We expect to ░░░░░░░░ more We got another ░░░░░░░░ over the night I ░░░░░░░░ around 1 A M ░░░░░░░░ we ll see how ░░░░░░░░ trickles out But as ░░░░░░░░ now much of this ░░░░░░░░ already been out there ░░░░░░░░ this really isn t ░░░░░░░░ smoking gun that I ░░░░░░░░ a lot of people ░░░░░░░░ it was going to ░░░░░░░░
