Fallon Gallagher on Partial Release of Epstein Files: ‘They Shed Very Little New Light’ on the Whole Scope

‘I would call this more of a compilation than a real release’

RUSH EXCERPT:
GALLAGHER: "Yeah, Alex, these files were heavily redacted. They were incomplete, and they shed very little new light on what the whole scope of the Epstein files looks like. I would call this more of a compilation than a real release, because many of these documents already existed in the public sphere through foia requests, court documents, and some of those house oversight documents that we’ve been getting over the last few weeks. I think we have a list on the screen showing some of them. Some of the new ones were that pages from the massage for dummies book some photos with celebrities, including people like Mick Jagger and Michael Jackson. I want to make it abundantly clear that None of those photos imply that there were any wrongdoing by those celebrities, but it shows. It sheds some new light on some of the people that he’s been spending time with. They went to great lengths to paint a picture of a friendship with Bill Clinton. There’s a number of photos of Bill Clinton. You see him in a hot tub with a redacted woman. You see him on a plane with a woman on his lap. Again, no evidence of wrongdoing there, but clearly a story that they’re trying to tell. I think what’s really telling, though, is what’s missing from these files. There’s very little references to President Trump. I know many people were expecting to see more of that. There’s one photo where you see it’s a drawer and there’s a number of photos, and in it you can see that there’s that famous photo that’s been around for a while of of President Trump, Melania Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. What’s really interesting is that we can tell that that photo appears to be missing from the DoJ’s website. Now, it was there last night in the in the drop. It’s missing now. We don’t know why that’s missing. There are a number of reasons. We you know, we don’t we don’t want to speculate there. But the house oversight dems have posted online that they’re investigating why that one specific photo that President Trump happens to be in has been removed. The other thing that I was looking for that we didn’t see are any internal conversations among DoJ about charging decisions, some of those investigative materials, we didn’t see any of that. But again, we know that this is an incomplete picture. Todd blanch himself said that yesterday. He said that they were going to release this on a rolling basis and that this was only a small percentage. We expect to get more. We got another drop over the night, I believe, around 1 A.M. so we’ll see how this trickles out. But as of now, much of this has already been out there. And this really isn’t the smoking gun that I think a lot of people thought it was going to be."
