I am an award-winning legal affairs reporter for MSNBC. I cover critical legal stories, including cases at the Supreme Court, litigation involving the Trump Administration, and other high-profile civil and criminal cases. I covered President Trump’s criminal trial in Manhattan and reported from inside the courtroom during his sentencing.

Prior to covering legal affairs for MSNBC, I reported on legal news for NBC. Prior to joining the legal beat, I was a producer for “NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt.” There, I covered the impact of the war in Gaza on Arab American voters in battleground Michigan. I also reported on the stories of Republican women who were campaigning to protect abortion access in Ohio.

Before taking on a broader role at Nightly, I was Lester Holt’s Associate Anchor Producer. I traveled the world with him, covering everything from the horrific school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, to the devastation of Hurricane Ian. I also reported exclusively from Alaska on NORAD’s operations as the first line of defense from growing threats from Russia and China.

I began my career in NBC’s Washington Bureau, where I covered key political stories, including President Biden’s inauguration and the American withdrawal from Afghanistan. In Washington, I also covered the transportation beat during the critical investigation and recertification of the Boeing 737 MAX, following two fatal crashes.
