Bedford on Ivanka: Imagine the Outrage if a Tea Partier Harassed Michelle

BEDFORD: "Yeah, Ivanka is hanging out with Al Gore. She is chumming around and good friends with Chelsea Clinton. She is somebody from the Manhattan circles. She doesn’t have the conservative populist bent of her father. People love her. As far as reaching out to her. She is going to be the person you are want to reach out to if you are interested in universal decay or passing legislation on global warming. She is going to be your point of contact. This is not a good way to make an impression on her."
DOOCY: "Chris, you just mentioned Chelsea Clinton. In terms of the coverage that this incident has gotten, what woo it be a bigger story if Chelsea Clinton was sitting in coach and she got talked down to by a tea party."
BEDFORD: "That would be huge that would be a big story. Imagine the outrage if somebody had ever attacked Michelle Obama and her children. She is the patron saint of the left. If she ever had been harassed by a tea partier, which, of course, never happened. You would hear it on the front pages and every headline on the newspapers across the paper."
