Dem. Senator Who Voted for Iran Deal Says Chances Are ‘Very High’ that Iran Will Cheat
‘I think it would be caught’
CLARK: "What do you think the chances are that Iran cheats on the nuclear deal?"
BENNET: "Very high."
CLARK: "And you're confident that the systems are in place that it could be caught?"
BENNET: "I think it would be caught."
CLARK: "As you look back on that deal, any regrets?"
BENNET: "None. If you look at where we were when I voted on that deal, Iran has ten bombs with enriched uranium and by everybody's estimates they were within two or three months of breaking out the nuclear bomb. Because of that deal, Iran no longer has the enriched uranium necessary to build one bomb."
