DOOCY: “Yes, but Stephen Miller is somebody that has the president’s complete trust, and something that I would say to advance your point about Susie Wiles, she was a very effective chief of staff in that she took what the president wanted and she made it happen. And here at the Trump White House, in Trump 2.0, a lot of the staff are much younger than in Trump 1.0. The only head of the Republican Party for a lot of the people that are in key jobs now and still rising through the ranks has been Donald Trump. You don’t have a lot of former Bush people, you don’t have former Romney people or McCain people here. Everybody is pretty much a Trump person through and through. And Susie Wiles figured out how to make a staff like that work really well."
