Heritage Pres. On Mississippi Lesson for GOP: ‘Make Sure … You Have a Candidate Who Is Conservative and Isn’t Lazy’

EXCERPT:

McARDLE: "Is there a lesson from Mississippi?"
ROBERTS: "Yes. Make sure that when you’re the Republican Party, you have a candidate who’s conservative and isn’t lazy."
McARDLE: "Would you like to dive more into laziness on the campaign trail in Mississippi?"
ROBERTS: “I would like to dive more into laziness in Washington. I think the leadership of the Republicans in the Senate is lazy. I think that they didn’t implement the president’s agenda. I think that that was purposeful.”
