Mollie Hemingway: There Were Good Reporters on Ilhan Omar Story Many Years Ago and the DoJ Just Sat on It for a Long Time

EXCERPT:

HEMINGWAY: “Well, many people know Ilhan Omar, or whatever her real name is, because of her strongly anti-American views, her hatred for white people that she has articulated. But these issues she’s dealing with are very serious and I’m sure Democrats don’t want them to be investigated, but in fact, immigration fraud, lying in order to obtain citizenship, marriage fraud. These are all serious crimes, and if it turns out that she has done them, the real problem isn’t that the investigation continues. The real problem is that there were good reporters on this story many years ago, and our Justice Department just kind of sat on it for a long time. Delaying it even more is not the way to fix that. These are very serious issues, and everyone should support rule of law, even if it’s a co-partisan who’s affected by it.”
