CNN: At Least 30 People Have Died in the High-Speed Train Crash in Spain

‘There were more than 500 people on board both trains combined’

EXCERPT:

MOSQUERA: “I can tell you that over the last hour, I have seen dozens of ambulances and vans like this one that you can get an image, that are taking the victims, those who were wounded to this place. So, the Red Cross staff can offer them the attention that right now they are requiring. Also, over the last hour, I had the chance to speak to some of those that were on board of those trains. And the stories are really dramatic, tragic. I mean, I was talking with one woman that was going to Seville. She had some business commitments there. She was in one of the carriers of the Iryo train. And she told me that she was just thrown out from her seat, flying over the top of the carriage where she was standing. Besides her, other many testimonies of victims that were on both trains and that are trying to cope with what just happened. I mean, the image and what they have left is really dramatic.”
