Trump Touts Tax Free Red Dye Diesel: ‘You Won’t Even Need That, It’s Going to Come Down Very Fast’

TRUMP: “Three weeks ago, I also signed an order waiving an off-road requirement for red dye diesel, allowing farmers, truckers and anyone else to fill up their red dye diesel totally tax-free, no tax. And you won’t even need that soon. It’s going to come down very fast. It’s going to come down very fast. The typical trucker or a farmer will save hundreds of dollars every single time you fill it up. So, it’s great. Last week, I also announced the Harvest Fuel Relief program, providing our farmers with $8 billion to offset diesel costs in the harvest season. So, it’s going to do a pretty good job to do that.”
