Josh Shapiro on Midterms: We Do Not Want People Who ‘Are Not Legal, Eligible Voters’ Casting Ballots

RUSH EXCERPT:
SHAPIRO: "No. I mean, look, first off, we‘ve assisted in those investigations. We don‘t want anyone who‘s ineligible. You‘re working with the DoJ. Well, what we‘ve done is to make sure that our voter rolls contain legal eligible voters. We do not want people who are not legal, eligible voters casting a ballot. And you cited a handful or so, maybe a little more than a handful. Those are examples of people who, by the way, in some cases are Democrats. Some cases are Republicans. In some cases, you know, we‘re voting for one candidate or another. This wasn‘t sort of a partisan effort, but it‘s something that has to be corrected. I don‘t want people who are ineligible voting in our elections, period."
