ROGERS: “Yeah, he won in the state. He still has tons and tons of supporters here. I’m working all of the coalitions, and that is one very big part of the coalition. Here’s the good news. When the Chevy Silverado — and, you know, the rest of the country maybe yawns about all this, this is important for us. Being built in Mexico, next year because of the tariff regime, it’s coming back. So, General Motors is bringing that Silverado back. It’s multibillion-dollar investment. It’s called Orion plant here just outside of Detroit. It’s a huge get for us. Detroit Diesel just added a third shift. They haven’t done that in two decades. A lot of these small fabrication shops adding work order. Some of them are adding second shifts. That’s that reshoring thing that is happening that will be for long-term prosperity.”
