Pete Hegseth: Washington Was ‘Content’ to Outsource Manufacturing Jobs, We Need Americans Who Still Roll Up Their Sleeves and Build
EXCERPT:
HEGSETH: “Washington D.C., the folks that operate there, the lobbyists, political types, they don't understand what you do. They couldn't do a day in your shoes. You know, the finger in the wind crowd. They don't know what it means to build what you build. See, before President Trump instilled the kind of urgency in American manufacturing and our defense industrial base, Washington was full of folks who understood the art of sitting back and collecting a paycheck and leeching off the labor that built this great country of ours. Producing nothing, building nothing. Worse than that, Washington was content to outsource our jobs, outsource our supply chains, outsource our industrial base in the name of globalism or anti-American trade agreements.”
