COATES: “I think this is a far more complex situation. And bear in mind, this isn't really lifting or easing sanctions, this is the president taking a waiver on the Graham Bill sanctions, not saying he's not going to do it, but looking at all of the ramifications of that and the ramifications for the American people. Because the fact of the matter is we're going to mark the fifth anniversary of this war in a couple of months. And these endless series of sanctions, the European Council voted to impose their 22nd round of sanctions last week. Let that sink in. It hasn't worked. It hasn't brought Putin to the table.”
