Hasan Piker: I Have a Lot of Privileges as a White Guy, or at Least Pre-October 7th Most People Saw Me as a White Guy

EXCERPT:

PIKER: “As a matter of fact, I pride myself in being able to reach a broad audience that isn't always expressly invested in politics and bring them on with different points of view when they first start to become more open-minded about certain marginalized identities. I often stress the importance of trying to explain certain conditions to people that might not be open to it. Look, I have a lot of privilege as well. My name is Hasan, but I'm a white guy. Or at least, you know, pre-October 7, most people saw me as a white guy. That's changed a little bit for sure, post-October 7.”
