Talarico Says He’d Stand up to Dems If They ‘Mess with Oil and Gas Industry’

TRANSCRIPT:

TALARICO: "And so I will stand up to my own party if they mess with our oil and gas industry, and I will stand up to the other party if they mess with renewables, which we‘ve seen in recent years. I think there are a few things we could do. One is support efforts to streamline permitting so that we can speed up some of these — these projects. I think we can restore the tax credits and the subsidies for some of these renewable industries. And I think if we do that, we can grow this industry in Texas and we can stay an energy leader in the 21st century, just like we were in the 20th."
