Trump Announces Pardon for Alaskan Truckers: Dems Want to Put Them in Jail for Fixing an Engine
EXCERPT:
TRUMP: "And two other Wasilla truckers were also wrongly charged, and I am pleased to announce that I am pardoning them, too, effective immediately. Their name is Zachary Czubak and Patrick Fleming. Come on up here, fellas. Come on up here. Bring me that pardons.
(Cheering and Applause)
Think of it. They want to put them in jail for 10 years because they fixed the engine. How sick. Now, if you murder somebody, no problem. Unless a Republican does the murdering. Then it's, you know, the electric chair, right? If you murder somebody, if you brutalize somebody, you can do anything you want. But if you fix an engine — and the problem is, I would imagine, because I know the way it works, I know a lot about engines, I know a lot about trucking, I have no choice but to know it, but the problem is that you bring them to some of these places and the people that fix them are no good, right? These guys know more about fixing engines than the people that have to pay a lot of money, too.”
