JOHNSON: "Well, I was informed after it happened. Look, no one is above the law in our system. Apparently, this was a long series — a long investigation. It had to go to a grand jury, of course, you had to get an independent federal judge to sign off on that, and they thought that the evidence merited the search warrant. So we have to reserve judgment and let the system play out as it does. Maybe the timing is unfortunate for her or others, but this is the legal system and it operates independently of the political system, so we do our jobs and we let the people decide."
