Kevin Liptak: Trump Says Ukraine ‘Should Pick a New President’ as Tensions With Zelenskyy Escalate

RUSH EXCERPT:

LIPTAK: "Trump also saying that Zelenskyy, quote, could have settled this war many, many times. And he chooses not to. And saying that Ukraine should pick a new president, which is a remarkable statement. You know, the relationship between Trump and Zelenskyy has really been on a pendulum. You know, starting with that ugly Oval Office scene a month into President Trump‘s term in 2025, they had seemed to be on better terms over the summer. But now, clearly, the relationship at a low ebb. President Trump is claiming that Zelenskyy continued to target a Russian diesel. Refineries despite American requests that he stop doing that.”
