SANGER: "Well, first, let‘s just talk for a moment about what a reversal it is. It was just three weeks ago. The president was signing into law the Lindsey Graham act, named for the late senator, uh, mister Graham had Senator Graham had had initially sponsored this to put more sanctions on Russia because of its activity in, um, uh, in Ukraine. So now the president is going in the opposite direction. It was only a few months ago that we were threatening countries that were buying oil from Russia. Right. So now the president has shifted around, and he said yesterday that the reason was very clear that the price of diesel was too high. Well, that‘s exactly the complaint."
