Steve Moore on the Low Jobs Report: The Good News Was That the Gov’t Sector Fell, So We Continue to Drain the Swamp

MOORE: "It really is almost the tale of two reports. On the one hand you’re exactly right the headlight number it was very disappointing. The fact we only create about 30,000 jobs, about 50000 the private sector. The good news was by the way the government sector fell to continue to drain the swamp in Washington and you are right the dollar revisions from previous was disappointing as well. On the other hand the thing I saw as super important and very positive for the economy is if you look over the last two months, Jerry, we have added 1 million new people to the labor force. Especially young men, they are back in the workforce for that the very positive thing because if you talk to employers like you do and I do all of the time, they will tell you their big problem is finding the qualified workers to build the jobs. That’s where we are at right now unemployment."
