‘Unbelievable’: CNN Political Director Gobsmacked as GOP Retreats From North Carolina, Pours Cash into Kansas

RUSH EXCERPT:

CHALIAN: “I agree with you. I think this is just like an unbelievable development. I mean, it‘s one that the super PAC and other Republicans have sort of been foreshadowing that they think the currently Republican held seat in North Carolina is slipping from them. And there‘s a popular, uh, former governor, Roy Cooper, the Democrat two term governor who has been running a successful campaign there. And so this is a natural thing that happens at the end of the cycle, where people look at their resources and say, hey, are we going to keep investing in a race that we think has slipped away from us? No, we‘re going to put those resources where we think we need them more. But to your point, the fact that Republicans are saying, no, North Carolina is not winnable, that‘s going to flip to the Democrats. We‘re going to pour resources into Kansas to shore up the Republican incumbent there. That was not on anyone‘s bingo card for 2021.”
