Scott Jennings: Xavier Becerra — the Most Incompetent Biden Cabinet Member Is Going to Be Elected to One of the Most Important Offices in America

TRANSCRIPT:

JENNINGS: "At best, Becerra is like Chance the gardener here. I mean, that‘s the most charitable read of how he got here. At worst, he is the most incompetent member of the most incompetent administration who somehow finds himself about to be elected to one of the most important offices in the country, which, as you point out, the biggest economy is California."
GARCIA-NAVARRO: "Who's Chance the gardener?"
JENNINGS: "From the movie 'Being There.' I mean, just, you know, accidentally sort of wound up in this position. And if you‘re in California, do you want to accidentally have a governor who has never really been all that successful at the things he‘s done, not by Republican standards, but by the Democrats who have worked with him? As Hilton pointed out, talk to the Biden people. We‘ve had them on this show, the Biden people who have said he was incompetent, he was the laziest member, whatever it is they said about the guy. And now he's going to be the governor of a very important state. I agree, it's an important state."
