J.D. Vance: In the Gospel of James Talafreako, Mary Wasn’t a Woman, She Was ‘a Pregnant Person’

‘And her son was a little more than a decent philosopher’

TRANSCRIPT:

VANCE: “Think about this. If your six-year-old son comes home one day and says he’s a girl, Talafreako says, and I quote, it is abusive — abusive if you don’t let school officials put him on hormones and change his pronouns. Nothing in the Bible supports any of this, of course. Now, in my church, and I imagine like a lot of yours, we are taught, for example, that Mary was selected by God to be the sacred vessel because she was, in the words of the Archangel, full of grace and blessed among women. But in the Gospel of James Talafreako, Mary was not a woman because there is no such thing. She was a pregnant person. And her son was little more than a decent philosopher.”
