James Talarico Pledges to Reverse Tax Cuts to the ACA and Other Healthcare Programs

TALARICO: “So, when we win this Senate seat, as the next U.S. senator from Texas, I will fight tooth and nail to reverse those cuts to the ACA. I will fight to cap the cost of more lifesaving drugs like EpiPens and cancer drugs. And I will fight for an a public option in our healthcare market as that can compete with the giant for-profit health insurance companies. I think that would be a gamechanger for our healthcare system in this country. And so, that’s my plan for expanding health care access and driving down health care costs. Last one I’ll mention. I held an event with Mark Cuban up in in Dallas and — actually, in Fort Worth, right next door. And we held an event where we rolled out our plan to take on the big health care monopolies.”
