KLOBUCHAR: “I don’t think these AI agents, which have attacked the government computer systems, among many other places, have morals. Okay, let’s face it, they do not have morals. These companies would say that. So, the fact that you would just say, hey, we all agreed on something is wrong. That is why I’m working across the aisle with the Majority Leader, Senator Thune, with Ted Cruz, with Senator Cantwell, on actually putting guardrails, major guardrails into law. And that means things like making sure that they come forward with these models to the government, making sure that imminent harm is reported the minute it happens. And my hope is, given the House went home, that we will get this done and we must by the end of the year. But just a handshake, trust us, it’s not going to work.”
