Mark Kelly Slams Trump’s Big Tech Luncheon: He ‘Obviously Wants to Surround Himself with Billionaires’

KELLY: "You know, and Donald Trump obviously likes to surround himself — surround himself with billionaires. I mean, that’s what that group is. A lot of AI executives and just tech executives who are going to benefit from this technology probably more than anybody else. And here’s the thing. We need to make sure that as this proceeds forward, that hardworking people, that the American people benefit from AI. They cannot — we cannot allow it to happen again, where hardworking folks across our country just get left behind. And that’s why I introduced legislation last Thursday on this: Make AI Work for Americans Act. It’s going to address the economic issue here if people start losing their jobs. And we’re going to have to tax Big Tech to do this. They need to be part of the solution."
