Fox News Reports GOP Senator Has Yet to Respond After Viral Gaffe: ‘We’ve Not Heard Back’

EXCERPT:

SPUNT: “But it turns out that text messages obtained by Schmitt were not about the Atlanta Hawks NBA game and Smith was not in Atlanta. He was in Maryland at an Iowa Hawkeyes college game.”

KLOBUCHAR: “I would just say, for a U.S. Senator to have false information and imply, based on a confusion about the name of a team — then call you a dirtbag, is something that deserves an apology.”

SPUNT: “And we reached out to Senator Schmitt’s office for comment on that dust-up into Senate Judiciary Committee. But, Bret, we have not heard back yet.”
