JENNINGS: “Rough moment. And I say that as someone who likes Eric Schmitt very much. And I think he‘s been a really good politician and senator in Missouri. So, obviously, this was a mistake. But what Republicans are really talking about and worried about today and have been with Jack Smith is that he did go out and obtain communications from members of Congress. He did go out and apparently obtain records for, you know, local Republican donors who had written checks for $5 and $10. Apparently, he got records of at least one journalist, Mollie Hemingway, from The Federalist.”
